Who is TheGuideliner for, and how is it different from liquid eyeliner?

Liquid liner is just pigment you paint onto your skin in whatever shape you can manage. TheGuideliner is pigment that sits on top of an ultra-thin, latex-free, dermatologically tested adhesive, pre-shaped into a perfect wing, ready to apply that transfers onto the skin.
The finish is different to traditional liquid liner on its own, but when paired with our EyeMatter balm, the result is incredibly similar.
We’re not trying to compete with liquid liner. We’re here for the people who gave up on it.
How long will one set of Guideliners™ last me?
expand_moreEach Guideliner is designed to last up to 3 days with proper care. A single GuideMe Kit™ or G’Fills refill pack includes 30 sets, meaning if you wear eyeliner daily, your supply can last up to three months.
Are the Guideliners safe?

Will the Guideliners damage my natural lashes?
expand_moreNot at all! TheGuideliner is designed to be gentle and non-damaging. It doesn’t require glue or pulling to apply or remove. The precision applicators included have a pointed tip, so you only touch the Guideliners, not your lashes when applying. During application, simply saturate them with water to release the backing, and remove it with an oil-based cleanser or wipe. No damage, no lash loss, just effortless wings.
Will it work on all eye shapes, including hooded or deep-set eyes?
expand_moreYes! TheGuideliner is designed to work on all eye shapes, including hooded and deep-set eyes. Placement is key, if you have hooded eyes, try our Blink N Snap technique. You can also adjust the angle slightly to suit your unique eye shape. Check out our tutorials for more info.

Will TheGuideliner work on oily eyelids?
expand_moreYes, but proper prep is important! For best results, cleanse your eyelids with an oil-free cleanser or toner before applying your Guideliners. This removes excess oil and ensures they adhere properly, giving you long-lasting, smudge-free wings.
My Guideliners are cracking, is this normal?
expand_moreYes, this is completely normal! TheGuideliners™ are designed to stay in the same position once applied, so as your skin moves when you blink, small cracks may appear. This doesn’t affect wear and is how they’re meant to function. The cracks are usually only visible if you stretch your eyelid, which isn’t how the liner naturally sits. For a seamless look, simply use the tip of your eyeliner pen or shadow to dot over any small gaps.
I want my Guideliners to look like liquid eyeliner.
expand_moreTheGuideliners have a natural satin finish, but if you prefer a fully matte look, dab on EyeMatter™ Mattifying Balm after application. It blurs any shine, setting your wings with a shine-free, matte traditional eyeliner finish.

Do I apply my Guideliners under or over makeup?
expand_moreGuideliners can be applied either over or under makeup. However, for a flawless application and longevity, we recommend applying Guideliners on clean dry skin.
I’ve always admired my friends that can just effortlessly toss on a winged eyeliner and with minimal other makeup, look polished and put together. I like a “no-frills” glam routine most days and a little wing always seems to elevate even the most minimalist of looks. But, I have historically struggled with what I always hoped would be a quick swish across my eyelids… not the case. I’ve always had to factor in SO MUCH extra time to do a wing that I pretty much had just given up - or, understood the time commitment and frustration it would take me to do what my friends do so easily. Then comes the Guideliner! I’ve only done the practice set (thank you for the extras!) and I’m so happily surprised at how straightforward and simple the application is. Also, it lasted overnight - I could re-do my makeup today without having to use another set (just filled in any creases with a normal liquid liner).
I can already picture myself using Guideliner as a base for shimmery or glitter winged liner on top - but also, if y’all came out with fun colors I’m confident I’d buy them all!

I was honestly surprised by how easy The Guideliner was to get right. The result looks very natural, and I love that the start kit includes practice guidelines so you can practice it properly without eating into your «monthly» use straight away.
I chose the brown shade to enhance my green eyes, and it is a cool-toned brown with a really refined, polished look. Elegant without feeling heavy! In hindsight, I probably should have ordered the trial kit to test the different sizes, as I suspect I would go for the Thicci next time.
I also bought the mattifier, which I would _strongly_ recommend if, like me, you prefer a matte liner. It really pulls the whole look together and adds that final finishing touch.
I have always managed a decent cat-eye, but I am chronically late, endlessly lazy, love sleeping in, and I scuba dive fairly regularly. All of that makes quick, low-effort beauty solutions - that looks high-effort - very appealing to me.
I will keep supporting the brand and hope shipping to Norway becomes an option when I move back. If not, I may have to start forming international alliances just to keep my liner routine intact🕵🏻♀️🤝
I’m seriously impressed with this eyeliner! I applied the Guideliner winged eyeliner last night before bed, and when I woke up this morning it was still perfectly in place. I did my usual makeup routine for work and didn’t even need to touch up my liner, it already looked flawless.
The pigment is bold, the application was smooth, and most importantly, it stayed put overnight without smudging or fading. If you’re looking for an eyeliner that can last through anything, even sleep, this is the one.🧡
When I say I’m makeup impaired- I seriously mean it. Like even mascara is a challenge. This has been an absolute game changer! It’s so easy to apply. Only took me a couple of practice rounds to get it down. I love the skinni brown classic since I’m mostly a no makeup girlie. It just looks so classy and really boosts my confidence. Look, I don’t wanna be too dramatic about this BUT buying this has been life changing. Winning lotto would be cool but perfect winged liner every single time? Just hits different.
The first time is a bit fiddly as you learn how to use them (extra sets are included in the Try Me Kits to make up for this) but by the second time you can absolutely nail it almost immediately. And they really do last for days.
