First, let's troubleshoot your wings

Guideliner not sticking or tearing during application?
Apply your Guideliners on clean, dry skin. Any makeup, primer, or oil underneath and repositioning them too many times can affect how well they stick. If your Guideliner is lifting with the backing or tearing mid-application, it likely needs more water. Make sure your applicator is fully saturated and press& dab until the pink backing lifts and slides off easily. Avoid dragging or peeling too early, let the water do the work.

Something doesn't look quite right?
If your wing’s looking a little off, it might be due to placement, using the wrong side, or applying it upside down. Each Guideliner is marked L (left) and R (right), just make sure it’s going on the correct eye, sticky side down.
Don’t place your Guideliner too far into the eye, or the flick might disappear into your eyelid fold. Too far out, and the shape might look unbalanced. Small shifts can make a big difference.

Splitting and cracking is normal
Guideliners are designed to stay exactly where you placed them, they don’t stretch or move with your skin. So when you blink or your eyelid moves, small cracks or splits are totally normal.
Just take your favourite eyeliner and fill in the tiny gaps for a seamless finish. It’s all part of the process, and way easier than drawing two symmetrical wings from scratch!

Wish you could modify your flick?
You can! Just use your regular liner to trace and stretch the tip. Your Guideliner does all the hard symmetry work for you. Or, use your scissors to trim and re-shape.

Struggling with hooded eyes?
For slightly hooded eyes, check where your eyelid fold ends near the outer corner, then place your Guideliner so the flick sits just beneath that point (and remember to apply it 1–2mm above your lash line). For heavily hooded eyes, look straight into the mirror and position the wing exactly where you want it to sit. Apply as normal, and once the backing slides away, gently lift your brow and blink to “snap” the liner into place. Finish by using a gel or liquid eyeliner to fill in and connect the two sections for a seamless wing.
